What's PF?

PF value refers to the power factor, which refers to the cosine value of the phase difference between input voltage and input current;

PF relations with Power

Generally speaking, Low PF value could increase the loss of power grid, and higher PF could save more electricity.

For civilian use, the PF value has few influence on individuals or families, and the PF value is mainly related to power plants.

The power consumption depends not on the PF value, but on the conversion efficiency, which is generally above 0.8, and above 0.85 can be considered as a good power supply drive.
