Features of DMX512 driverf/controller

The general controllable light source has two kinds of RGB and RGBW, that is, a light source to use three channels or four channels,

 a line light with 10 light sources have 10 * 3 = 30 channels, and a port has 512/30 is about equal to 17 lamps, if it is a RGBW on 10 * 4 = 40, 512/40 = 12

 

Standard EIA485 interface

 The wiring method is bus topology, ring or star network is not supported. Up to 32 nodes can be connected to the same bus.
